Hey guys so yesterday we unveiled our new Myspace page, which I must say looks amazing! If you’ve guys have seen the previous layout then you know things could only get better! We’d advise you you to check out the new layout [HERE]!

So kicking off days two and three we’re continuing with our wall to wall coverage of our “Broken Heart” video shoot. Day two took place at the same location from day one as shooting was vagarious there. However the 2nd day was super fun as it took place at Milly Day’s house. There were snacks, kool-aid, and friends. However eventually the whole pitcher of kool-aid would go on to be knocked over by Milly which called for a 20 minute cleaning session(thanks a lot Milly)! The rest of the shoot however was hilarious as it took Chuck several shots to get a scene right(which can be seen in the footage below). Lyruk wouldn’t sit down she danced and aggravated Chuck the whole time. During the 3 days of shooting we had a blast and couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. We’d like to thank our friends and family for coming out to support us as we move one step closer to the success our future holds. We’d also like to thank Ryan(The Director), Nick(Lighting), and Zak(Playback and Scene set up) for their great work and hospitality! The video should be up and rolling by late July early August, but of course we’ll keep you guys updated.

So as promised we’re bringing you some behind the scene’s footage from our Broken Heart video shoot. The first two days of the shoot went exceptionally well we had sooo much fun. There was unstoppable laughter, pizza, friends, and family. Our director Ryan was the best we could ask for he really showed us what the true essence of cinematography was. His crew(Nick and Zak) were also exceptional as these guys really came in to get the job done but didn’t mind laughing and joking with us. Overall the day was amazing and an experience we’ll never forget!

So we’re proud to bring to you guys that this week on June 25/26 we’ll be shooting our first ever music video for Broken Heart. When we were first trying to decide on a director for our first video we had no idea where to look. However there’s so much hidden talent in St.Louis which is how we came across Ryan Powell. Ryan Powell is a Freelance director from the area who has done some major stuff his work has been featured on powerhouse blog sites like 247hh, Highsnobiety, Ferrari Murakami’s, Be-Mag, etc.
We’ve been putting together the story board for this shoot for about a month now and with our final meeting being held yesterday we’re ready to rock and..well you know the rest. To put everything in prospective and guarantee one of the most creative videos ever! Ryan has worked with the likes of The Cool Kids, Common, and Greedy Genius. So I bet you guys love the random updates we give you all, well here’s another! Recently we took some new photos for an upcoming project you’ll be seeing soon, however they came out pretty good. Also if your in the St.Louis area we’ll be performing at Six Flags-St.Louis on June 5th so mark that down now or vanish forever! I know you guys have been wondering such things like, “Did The Middle Class fall over a bridge,” “Did The Middle Class hop in a taxi and head for the border never to return again,” or “Did The Middle Class resign from music to become full time construction workers”…Well if you were thinking any of the above then we regret to inform you that your foolish thoughts have mislead you once again! Actually we’ve been working on an incredibly important project that could possibly be the turning point in our career. We can’t give out any real details however take a look at the video below and give it some thought. Add iLL-Literacy on Myspace HERE
So this past Thursday we opened up for a electrifying spoken word group from The Bay (San Francisco, California). Now there are not many groups out there we’d put on a platform higher or as high as ourselves. However we’d gladly share our platform with iLL-Literacy, this group not only does spoken word but their Hip-Hop twist to the show is BANANAS!
We got the chance to chop it up with this beautiful group of individuals and instantly the convo turned to how we were all going to better music within the next couple years.Many of you may not know how we operate here in The Middle Class, but it only takes one meeting to allow us to genuinely love someone. So to iLL-Literacy we say we love you guys and thanks for inviting us to the show, we had a blast and look forward to doing many shows with you guys!

Shortly after the show a Soul Train line broke out, now you know if there’s ever a soul train line The Middle Class will be in attendance! The crowd at Washington University was absolutely amazing they showed us so much love and to you guys as well thank you and we love you all!

TMC x The Hundreds!

So gathering up all the pics we could rummage up after losing the camera on our CA trip we found pics of us at the IM-KING headquarters. We hit up the office to preview some new material for our good friends over there. We had so much fun there I think we hit the office up three days in a row, there will be a whole lot more coming from The Middle Class x IM-KING this year so keep your ear open and your eyes wide shut! see ya soon!
